effects in America :
(i) As the skies darkened and the 
dust swept in, people were blinded and choked.
 (ii) Cattles were suffocated to death, their lungs caked with 
dust and mud. 
(iii) Terrible storms buried fences with sand, covered fields and coated the surfaces of rivers till the fish died.
(iv) Dead bodies of animals and birds were strewn all over the area further making it polluted.
(v) The tractors and machines were clogged with dust, damaged beyond repair.
