Given to evaluate:-

( \sqrt{3}  + 2)( \sqrt{3}  - 2)

Solution:-

First of all, we have to know the identity used to solve the question.

1. \:  \:  (x + y)(x - y) =  {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}

Calculation:-

From identity, we can say that,

( \sqrt{3}  + 2)( \sqrt{3}  - 2)

 =  {( \sqrt{3}) }^{2}  -  {(2)}^{2}

 = 3 - 4

 =  - 1

Answer:-

Answer \:  = -1
