Answer: In the countryside rumours spread from village to village that the lords of the manor had hired bands of brigands who where on their way to destroy the ripe crops.Hearing this peasants of several districts seized hoes and pitchforks and attacked chateaux. They looted the hoarded grain and burnt down documents containing manorial dues.A large number of nobles fled from their homes, many of them migrated to neighbouring countries.

Hope this helps you.

Explanation:

The Changes that took place during the country side were:

• The prices of the bread were increasing so the women got angry.

• They stormed to Bastille and demolished everything and they sold the bricks of that prison to buy bread.

• The third estate bore the maximum tax but the other 2 estates were not asked to pay taxes.

• The wages of the workers were very low.

• The people stormed to Bastille and looted everything there .

The ancient regime and crisis which was responsible for the revolutionary protest in France are:

• The population of France rose from 23 million in 1715 to 28 million in 1719.This led to rapid increase in the demand for food grains and also increase in the price of food. At that time many workers worked in the land of big landlords, the wages they got did not keep pace with the increase in the price of food. So the gap between the rich and the poor widened and many were left hungry.

• People get priveledge based on birth and not based on money, so the low class people always depended on these high class people and the high class people enjoyed a lot of facilities.

• The third class group included professions such as manufacturers, peasants, law officials etc and they believed that no one in the society should be privileged based on birth rather a person’s social position must depend on his merit.

• France at that time supported 13 American colonies in gaining freedom from Britain so the waged war with them and gradually lost all the wealth.
