Evaluate the following.
cos 45º
(i) sin 45° + cos 45º
(i)
sec 30° + cosec 60°
2 tan? 45° + cos230° - sin? 60°
(iv)
sin 30° + tan 45º - cosec 60°
cot 45° + cos 60° - sec 30°
sec-60° - tan’60°

In the above table (in attachment) values of trignometrical identities for standard are given ....Use them to find the values

How to memorise them ?

  • Learn first values of sin theta
  • Cos and sin values are interchanged. Ex sin 30 = cos 60 = 0.5
  • Tan values can be found by |
  • </strong><strong>\</strong><strong>boxed</strong><strong> </strong><strong>{</strong><strong>\tan( \alpha ) = \frac{ \sin( \alpha ) }{ \cos( \alpha ) }</strong><strong>}</strong><strong>
  • And cos and sec are reciprocals so are tan and cot and cosec and sin
