Solution :-

we know that, GEMDAS rule :-

  • G = Grouping (Brackets)
  • E = Exponents
  • M = Multiplication
  • D = Division
  • A = Addition
  • S = Subtraction .

Note :-

  • In a particular simplification, if you have both multiplication and division, do the operations one by one in the order from left to right.
  • Multiplication does not always come before division. We have to do one by one in the order from left to right.
  • In a particular simplification, if you have both addition and subtraction, do the operations one by one in the order from left to right.

Answer (1) :- 10 - 2 + 6 + 3

→ 10 - 2 + 6 + 3

solving subtraction from left,

→ 8 + 6 + 3

17 (Ans.)

Answer (2) :- (8 + 2) - (9 - 2²)

→ (8 + 2) - (9 - 2²)

solving exponents first,

→ (8 + 2) - (9 - 4)

solving brackets now,

→ 10 - 5

5 (Ans.)

Answer (3) :- 3²-15 + 5 + (6 + 4)

→ 3²-15 + 5 + (6 + 4)

→ 3² - 15 + 5 + 10

→ 9 - 15 + 5 + 10

→ (-6) + 5 + 10

→ (-1) + 10

9 (Ans.)

Answer (4) :- 5 + 2 - 3

→ 5 + 2 - 3

→ 7 - 3

4 (Ans.)

Answer (5) :- 20 - 5 x 4 + 1

→ 20 - 5 × 4 + 1

→ 20 - 20 + 1

→ 0 + 1

1 (Ans.)

Answer (6) :- 8 x 2-4÷2 + 6

→ 8 × 2 - 4 ÷ 2 + 6

→ 16 - 2 + 6

→ 14 + 6

20 (Ans.)

Answer (7) :- (-3)² - 6+3

→ (-3)² - 6 + 3

→ 9 - 6 + 3

→ 3 + 3

6 (Ans.)

Answer (8) :- 9 x 8 - 36 ÷ 4

→ 9 x 8 - 36 ÷ 4

→ 72 - 9

63 (Ans.)

Answer (9) :- 3 + 2 + 8 ÷ 4 (4-2)

→ 3 + 2 + 8 ÷ 4 (4-2)

→ 3 + 2 + 8 ÷ 4 × 2

→ 3 + 2 + 2 × 2

→ 3 + 2 + 4

20 (Ans.)

Answer (10) :- 16 - 6² + 36

→ 16 - 6² + 36

→ 16 - 36 + 36

→ (-20) + 36

16 (Ans.)
