The "Non Cooperation Movement" (a.k.a. "Asahakar") in 1920's included surrender of titles, resignation from nominated seats in local government bodies, boycott of government educational institutions, law courts and foreign goods. One of the important phases of India’s struggle for independence from the British rule was the Non-Cooperation Movement. It was marked by thousands of common citizens taking part in the rallies. It was launched on 31st August 1920. The British rule was being resisted by this movement by adopting non-violent ways. Swadeshi also was included later.
