Government of India has made great attempts in creating Panchayati Raj Institutions and various procedures and nomenclatures have been laid down for the state government to keep things in tandem.
The main process of creating Panchayati Raj Institutions is to ease the problem solving process at smaller levels. The hierarchy starts from Gram Sabha then Gram Panchayat. A Block which has various villages in it, then it is the district or Zila Parishad.
These decision making bodies have been formed by the government only and the government takes active part to witness the happenings of these bodies.
By forming and maintaining these redressal committee government has definitely completed its constitutional obligation towards people.
