Depends.... change mostly strikes fear in the hearts of those who are affected by it... if there is no organizational culture, which is quite open to change, or if there are no mid-level managers (which are in 99 % of all cases are responsible for having a successfull change process) who communicate the neccesity of the change process and act as role-models employee commitment will decline.
Employee commitment will rise with a successful change process or if employees see change as a way to improve their organization
