x^2(x-2)/(x-3)(x-2)

(x^2)/x-3

substitute x=2

2*2/2-3

4/-1

=-4

2). 2cos^2 x -1 = cos 2x

2cos^2 x -2 = cos 2x-1
2(cos^2 x -1 ) = cos 2x-1
now substitute in given equation

= 2(cos^2 x -1)/ cosx-1
= 2(cosx +1)(cosx -1)/ cosx-1
= 2(cosx+1)
= 2(cos(0)+1)
= 2(1+1) =2*2
= 4
