evaporation causes cooling. yeah it's true it is as follows: water which has sufficient kinetic energy to change itself in vapours then it evaporates by taking the latent heat of remaining water. by this the remaining water become cool Nd thus this statement is justified.

mohankanhaiii: Evaporation causes cooling because during evaporation the particle of the liqued absord energy from the surroundings to regain the energy lost during evaporation. the absorbtion of heat from the surrounding makes the surrounding cool.

Example : 1.when we spray a deo on our hand.

Answer:

AS EVAPORATION LOOSES HEAT

Explanation:

In evaporation a substance changes its state from liquid to gas, for this process to occur energy in the form of heat is required (endothermic process) which has to be taken from some source (surroundings). So the source, which loses heat apparently becomes 'cooler'. Hence it can be said that evaporation causes cooling.

EX:APPLYING PERFUME OR PETROL ON OUR HAND

if helpfull plzzz marks as brillant answer.
