Evaporation is definitely a boon rather than a curse. I can think of lots of different ways that makes evaporation a blessing. To put this into perspective, I would love you to imagine life without transpiration. I could think of millions of things that could go wrong if, say, there is an end in evaporation today.
A few of the things that could go wrong is that there would be no water cycle. What this means, is an end to rain and with it fresh water since the water bodies that would be left would be terribly salty due stagnation.
One crucial way that lack of evaporation will affect life, is that there will be retardation or complete extinction of plant growth. Plants depend on evapotranspiration for photosynthesis and keeping cool. One can only imagine life without plants; the primary source of food and energy in the ecosystem. It is through evaporation that human beings, plants and animals keep cool, hence, without it life would end due to hyperthermia.
The effects of life without evaporation are inexhaustible and this why I have chosen these few crucial effects to elaborate how evaporation is a blessing to life on the planet earth.
