Evaporation is not a bulk phenomenon but a surface phenomenon because it to the depends on the surface of the area.

Whereas it is not bulk because bulk refers to heating. So boiling is a bulk process not evaporation.

Evaporation vary directly with temperature because the more will be the temperature the more amount of evaporation take place. Example - clothes dry faster on a hot day than on the humid or rainy day.
