Evaporation is a physical process. In this process liquid is changed into vapours state. Intermolecular forces of liquid should overcome. Due to this heat is given to liquid to change in vapours and heat given is endothermic. Due to this spontaneous process we can also find enthalpy of moler heat of vapourization.
