evaporation depends on temperature as in hot weather evaporation is more and in cold weather evaporation is less

Evaporation is, particularly, a surface phenomenon unlike boiling.


During the evaporation, the molecules at the surface of liquid take up the heat from the surroundings and get evaporated to leave the surface of the liquid.


This can happen at any temperature.


Temperature does affect evaporation as it takes place quickly at high temperatures
