Dear Diary,
I have been maintaining you since my childhood. From the day, I lost my sense of hearing till now. I have overcome several hurdles and obstacles✊ for becoming what I am today !! Today, I had a lot of spare time to recall my memories☃️ and days of struggles⚡. And, Finally I decided to write all those thoughts and here we go......
I remember, How I used to play with friends and hear all the chaos, but I don't know How one day the whole world turned mute to me? I couldn't hear the music of nature i.e. chirping of birds, flowing of water etc. It was confirmed that I am deaf when I was eleven.
I loved music, but it was very difficult for me to change my dream into my success story⚘. At the age of 17, I went to Royal Academy of Music and I saw a girl playing an instrument. I also raise interest but I was helpless because I was not able to hear the music. Ron Forbes, my guide and motivator, recognised my potential and asked me to feel music instead of hearing it. And, I tried whatever he said and felt different beats in different parts of body.
Slowly, I learnt feeling the music in each of my body part even in my cheekbones, fingers and hair. I used to remove my shoes on wooden platform for this purpose. I grew up and became one of the most popular percussionist and got many prestigious awards. Then, I decided to hold free music programs for prisoners, homeless peoples and orphans kids. I felt their happiness and also I was satisfied by their smile☘ which hang up on the lips. Finally, I wanna say, I learnt one thing from my life, "Believe in yourself and all that you are. Because, there is something inside all us which is greater than any obstacles."
