Even iron get rusted we are using for constructing buildings as traditional metal is it correct or incorrect suggest alternate metals

Rusting does not occur if it doesn't come in contact with atmosphere.In buildings it is covered by cement in such a way that it doesn't come in contact with atmosphere and get rusted.It is hard so we use it in buildings.So, it is correct. I don't think any other metal is as cheap as iron.

do you know that there is an iron pillar near qutub minar which was built by I think king Chandra which has not rusted for almost 1500 years (I ain't sure) . Isn't it wonderous!!! I have observed that indians would have developed the ability to prevent the iron from rusting several years ago!!!!!!!!
