'THE IMPOSSIBLE can be turned into possible with positive attitude, determination and faith in God's miraculous powers. Reverent figures such as Jesus, Lincoln, Helen Keller, Louis L Hay, Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Socrates, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Walt Disney, Booker T. Washington, Mahatma Gandhi, and all the other known and unknown men and women who did the impossible were men and women of conviction, commitment, dedication, and high ideals.

Another name that can be added to the list is Evelyn Glennie’s name. She lost her hearing disability owing to some auditory nerve damage at quite a young age. However, she did not give up! Music was her passion; she resolved to pursue learning music. She seemed to believe in the immense inner power that was greater than her disability and challenges. Ron Forbes, the great percussionist encouraged her to develop her other faculties for music. As she practiced, she realized she could hear music through her body. She always moved ahead. She stunned the world with her musicality. She has won many accolades and laurels. In 1991 she was awarded the Royal Philharmonic Society’s prestigious Soloist of the Year Award. If anyone wants an inspiration to achieve one’s dream, one can learn a lot from Evelyn Glennie.
