Even though Bt toxin inactive, it kills the insect when it enters the midgut. Give reason

Answer : Bt toxin is inactive and gets activated in the insect. Alkaline pH of the insect converts inactive Bt toxin into active form which creates pores in the gut of an insect and will later die from infection or starvation.
