Even though HF has lower molecular
mass compared to HCl, HF is in the
liquid state and HCl is in the
gaseous state at room temperature.

Explanation:

There is bonds between the separate molecules in HF whereas these bond does not exist in HCI therefore explaining its gaseous state at room temperature.
