even though our looks and characters are different why do we belong to the same species

nuzz: The species of same group look similar because they share about 80% genes. Which makes them too much closer and rest 20% genome makes it evolutionary different from each other.

Being in same category they share approximately 90% physiological traits. The organisms are classified in the classification order on the basis of the characters and heritence they have.

Even though all human beings have differences in body structure, they belong to the same species because they have similar DNA sequences and have descended from the same ancestors.

This is because they reproduce among themselves and one of the events in the process of reproduction is the creation of copies of DNA.
