even though water is renewle resource there is water scarcity of it why?

this is bcoz most of the water on earth is salty...it is more polluted and poor people do not get sufficient amount

but even though.. water scarcity..
it's because only 1 percent of fresh water is available out of 75 percent of water on earth..
and we humans are polluting the water...
thus there is a raise in water scarcity...
