yes plastic is very useful but not environmental friendly as it has many disadvantages:
●plastics are not at all eco-friendly some plastics can be recycled but recycle plastics are inferior in quality
●plastics burn slowly and release toxic fumes
●plastics are non biodegradable and keep accumulating in landfills
●inferior quality plastics prove to be hazardous if used in food packing or eatables
●plastics and Polythene bags choked drains and create a lot of drainage problems this also leads to eutrophication causing harm to aquatic life
we can say that is man-made wonder is certainly useful but has its limitation not being eco friendly it certainly has become a cause of concern to protect the environment from getting degraded hence one should be careful about the following things:
●limit the use of plastic
●use paper or cloth bags instead of polythene
●do not throw plastic or polythene in water bodies
●do not burn plastics
●avoid wearing synthetic clothes in kitchen
●reuse plastic containers for storing various other things of making different things instead of throwing them away.
I hope this helps you:)
