Chauri Chaura incident-
Chauri chaura is a village in UP where approximately 2000 protestors participated in Non Co-operation Movement. On 4th February 1922 group of protestor clashed with some policemens near police station and in retaliation, policemen open fired at the masses. This clash resulted in death of 23 policeman ans 3 civilians. After the incident British imposed Martial law and hundreds of peoples were arrested.

2. Malabar Rebellion-

Malabar Rebellion was the outcome of crackdown of Khilafat Movement in Kerela. Mappila Muslim community revolted against the British Raj. Initially minor clashes took place. Later on the flames of anger spread and Masses took control of the govt. offices, Police station etc. Many Hindus also faced the fury of protestors. Again Martial Law Imposed and Many peoples were arrested. Nearly 10,000 people died in the riots.

Result: Both the events were solely responsible for cancellation Non Co-operation Movement. since this movement were meant to be a Non-Violent Protest but outcome was violent.
