every body know pai mean 7/22 but anybody can tell why 7/22 why it was be not other i means 23/7.

π is the ratio of circumference to the radius of any given circle.22/7 is its approximate value and not its real value.Its real value is irrational which is equal to 3.142857..... which is taken as 22/7 for its simplicity.
