Given :-

Every day Brian put $0.30 in his piggy bank, and his father put in 2 times that amount. At the end of 21 days,

To Find :-

How much money had Brian and his father put in the piggy bank?

Solution :-

At first

Money invested by Brian = 21(0.30) = 6.30

Now

Since his father put times more

So

Money invested by father = 0.30 × 2 × 21

= 0.6 × 21

= 12.6

Total money put = 12.6 + 6.3

Total money put = 18.9

Option A is correct\\
