Thyroid gland is an endocrine gland present in our neck and is responsible for producing Thyroid hormones into bloodstream.

❇ LOCATION : NECK

❇ FUNCTION : It regulates carbohydrates, fats, and protein metabolism in our body. It also affects the growth of our body by promoting growth and differentiation of the tissues.
The hormones secreted directly by Thyroid gland influence the metabolism of our body cells.

It is also known as PERSONALITY GLAND.

More broadly, it secretes two types of hormones,
