every floor of a skyscraper is 4m high . if a ballon rises 3 m second every second how long will it take to rise 36 to 96 floor?

Number of floors = 96 - 36 = 60

Height = 60 x 4 = 240m

STEP 2: Find the time needed:

3 m = 1 second

1 m = 1/3 second

Given,

length of one floor = 4m

Speed = 3m/sec

Number of floors that balloon has to cross = 96 - 36

= 60

length of 30 floors = 60*4

= 240m

We know that,

 Speed = \frac{distance}{time} \\ \\  time = \frac{distance}{speed}  \\ \\  \ =  \frac{240}{3}  \\ \\ = 80 \  sec
