Speech on topic 'Every individual is unique' for Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam memorial elocution competition '

Greetings to all,

Respected dignitaries, teachers and my friends, it's my honor to be able to share my thoughts on the topic 'Every individual is unique.'

It is rightly said that every individual is unique because there is no other person like you in the world. To become unique requires excellence and excellence is a continuous process.  Everyone has his or her own talent, thinking process, habits, perspective which is unique or matchless. We should all celebrate this uniqueness than trying fit everyone in the same box.

Uniqueness should be treated as an asset. If we consider world as a machine, then some people are cogs, some are wheels, some are buttons, some are connectors, some are dynamo and so on. Everyone’s part in the machinery is unique. One part of it gone missing, machine will be shut down.

Life would become boring if we all are same and think alike. If everyone dresses up similarly or all go for same work every day, the life will become mundane. So, the difference has to be treated as uniqueness.

We should learn celebrate uniqueness in every aspect of life. Hereby I conclude by saying - A lion can’t become a horse and a tortoise can’t soar into the air.

Thank you.
