if we take an example of knife it is very important for cutting the vegetables and fruits without knife we cannot cut vegetables or fruits this is an advantage of it and the disadvantage is that some people use this knife to harm people or animal this is the misuse of the invention of we can say that "Every invention has its advantages and disadvantages-elaborate"

 As Newton says every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction. Science has advantages and disadvantages like anything else in the universe. 
to understand every invention has its advantages and disadvantages we have to consider an example. Study of the nuclear and atomic structure was formed for medical but it lead us to most dangerous weapon ever for humanity that is the nuclear bomb. now see there are many inventions around which have both advantages and disadvantages. laptops mobiles and television were invented for helping to pass important information but now they are becoming biggest impasse in student life. youth is becoming incorrigible because of these inventions. innumerable games and entertainment sources are provided at one touch and without being conscious they waste time. so it depends on the individual and  how the resource  is being used by one. otherwise we can't conclude what's right or wrong without knowing the exact situation.
