Patol Babu wanted to be an actor, for this he had to start at some level. So he started this career with every opportunity he could get. He did not think of any role as small and gave his best in every opportunity. These small roles takes a person to a higher level and gets them to a success that they have never thought of.

James Allen in his
book 'Ways To Blessedness' writes, "Not only great happiness but great
power arises from doing things unselfishly, wisely, and perfectly, for life in
its totality is made up of little things." Patol Babu was an epitome of
this fact. The flawless performance that he gave at the shooting scene was the
outcome of his hard-work and many small successes that he had achieved when he
was a theatre actor in his young days. Even before the shooting of his scene,
he practiced many times his monosyllabic dialogue ‘oh’. He went to a secluded
corner and started enunciating the syllable in various ways. Along with that he
worked out how he would react physically when the collision took place--how his
features would be twisted in pain, how he would fling out his arms, how his
body would crouch to express pain and surprise--all these he performed in
various ways in front of a large glass window. As a result everyone appreciated
and praised his performance.
