Answer:

A man is only interested in himself. He thinks and behaves in order to security, comfort, and happiness for himself. His need for self-preservation drives him to act in this manner. But it is only when he attempts to make others feel safe, comfortable, and joyful that he truly becomes human. Social service entails going above and beyond one's own needs to help others thats shat we should learn. The value of social service is highlighted by expressions like "To serve humanity is to serve God" and "Service before Self."

Explanation:

It is a responsibility to help others. Individual man receives stuff from society from birth to death. He owes society money. It is clearly his responsibility to try to repay this obligation, and to return what he had received, but the amount is so large that it can never be completely paid off. Giving back to society a small fraction of what one has gained from it is what social service is all about. Poverty, disease, and misery abound in the globe. Everywhere you look, there are possibilities to help others. Raising a fallen man, assisting an elderly lady off a bus, and transporting a blind guy across a road are all examples of social service. Such actions bring light into a dark situation.
