Earth attracts every objects with different force which depends upon mass of the object. If the object is near to earth the force depends only on the mass of the object. Force due to earth’s gravity is known as gravitational force

Yeah ,this statement is correct upto when the body is at negligible distance from the surface of earth ,if the body is at very hight the value of 'g' will change

As g= GM/(R^2)

Where G,M,R have their usual meaning

And F=GMm/(R^2)

F=mg

Hence force of attraction is mg

And the acceleration attained by object will F/m =>mg/m =>g

Which is 9m/s^2
