ores are nothing but the sources through which the metal can be extract profitably and conviniently without any economic loss. when we take aluminium,it is found in both bauxite and clay. but when we take bauxite, we can extract the aluminium easily from it which cannot be happened with the clay. so, every ore is mineral but every mineral need not be a ore.

Every ore is mineral but every mineral is not ore.
Minerals are naturally occurring chemical compounds in the earth's crust.
Out of many minerals in which a metal may be found, only a few minerals are chemically and commercially viable to be used as sources for the extraction of the metal.
Such minerals are known as Ores.
Hence, every ore is mineral but every mineral is not ore.
