Every rhombus is a square.State whether the given statement are True or False.

Both has all sides equal..



differences:-

1)diagonals of square are equal in length..
but
diagonals of rhombus are different in length..


2)squares has 90° angles
soo its all angles are equal..
and Opposite angles of a rhombus have equal measure but not all angles are equal...


soo ,we cannot say that rhombus is a square...

• All sides are congruent.

• The diagonals bisect the angles.

• The diagonals are perpendicular bisectors of each other.

• Vertices are not 90°.

• Diagonals of Rhombus are of unequal length.

• Only opposite angles of Rhombus are of equal measure.

• All sides are congruent.

• All angles are right angles.

• Diagonals of Square are of equal length.

• All angles of Square are of 90 degree each. (Right angled at each Vertex)

So from the above, we can say..


➺❥• This statement is false because all sides are congruent but not 90 degrees like a square. (A rhombus does not have all the properties of square.)
