People belonging to different social groups share differences and similarities cutting across the boundaries of their groups . Every social difference does not lead to social division this is because of the following reasons : it depends on how people perceive their identiies , for example if people look at their identities only on the basis of thier caste and religion considerations it becomes difficult to reconcile their differences but if they think their identities are multiple and complimentary with their national identity the situation will be easier to cope with . Also how the political leaders raise the demands of any community And third ,It also depends on the how the government reacts to demands of different groups.
