Every Social Difference does not lead to Social Division .

1) Social Differences divide similar people from one another but may unite very different people .

2) people belonging to different social group share different and similarities cutting across the boundaries of their group .

3) Carlos and Smith in a way were similar and thus different from Norman . ( Carlos and Smith - black , Norman - white.)

4) But they were similar in other ways ( they were athletes who stood against racial discrimination .)

5) Hence always Social Differences may not lead to social Divisions .
