The atmosphere is made up of air. This air has a weight(which is a force) exerts Pressure onto every body in the atmosphere.
This pressure is know as atmosphere pressure and is equal to 10⁵ Pa=78cm Of Hg= 1 atm unit

The blood in our body exerts a counter pressure know commonly as blood pressure to counter the Atmospheric Pressure. This is why astronauts have to wear special “pressure suits”.
