Every time I shifted in my chair or turned my wrist to watch the time-
wanted to make every one of our thirty minutes count-I felt a huge relief
and exhilaration in the possibilities of my body. How little it mattered then
that I would never walk, or even stand. Why was the author looking at his
watch so often ?
He was unwell and wanted to see a doctor soon
He wanted to make the best of the time given to him
He was getting bored
He was in a hurry to leave as he had another appointment
