every time when we dilute the mixture of water and dettol. we get the smell of dettol ?

because water has very little smell but dettol has very dark smell compare to water

The particle of a matter are very very small in size. Therefore, when we mix a few drops of dettol in the water, the whole water gives the smell of dettol. Even a small quantity of dettol contains million of tiny particles which kept on dividing on each dilution. So, even after dilution this water gives the smell of dettol since the small particles of dettol occupy the space between the entire water particles.
