Everyday while going to school in the morning you see some rag pickers digging in the garbage. Today you got a chance to take one of them and you become interested to know more about his.............. Write a story in about 150 words

While going to school, I saw a rag picker today.

I was shocked as he was of my age only, maybe a year or two younger than I am.

All I wanted to know was the reason that why he was picking the rag.

I asked him why he didn’t go to school for which he answers that because he was poor and don’t have much money to pay for the tuition fees.

On asking about his parents, he told me that they died when he was a year or two.

He lives with his uncle who is an alcoholic and didn’t give him much to eat.

This is the reason he picks rag. I had no reply for the poor kid and what he was going through.

I hope his life gets settled soon and he gets a way to live his life with honor.

I share my food with him as promised to give my old books to him.

This is the least I could do.
