Everydistrict has a jail where the criminals are kept as a punishment do you think punishing a person for wrongdoing ensures that he is not going to do it again why why not

it depends on their crimes and reason for crime ,if they had done a crime for sake of fun they won't be regreting that but they if they were obliged to do a crime then it is sure they will be regreting it .people also do crimes for greed of money ,property ,i think they also don't regret it

Actually jails are meant to isolate people who pose a threat to the society but under punishment they can realise their wrong doing and can go for redemption and if they do so they're freed but I don't think that death sentence is justified.
