Its true that everyone has got a dark side to them. No matter how nice they are, there is not a single person on earth who does not even have traces of dark side on them. Mark Twain had once said - "Everyone is a moon and has a dark side which he never shows to anyone". He was quite correct. Every person has got a sense of duality within themselves.They have a dark side, which is brutal and cruel and violent. The evil in them is held in check only through rules and expected behavior. One always tries to hide his/her dark side from others.
Scientific hypothesis - Psychiatrist Carl Jung had proposed that we all have a dark side, which he called "the shadow".
The dark side is an innate mechanism of the human brain. It is a basic part of human feelings. The dark side always shows tells you to express the rawmost of your emotions and desires not caring about others. The dark side consists of each and every quality that we actively deny in having.
So, even if I declare that I am the purest, nicest, most innocent person in this world, I cannot deny that I too have a hint of darkness in me that may reveal itself someday !
