Everywhere answer to this question is given "AMMONIA" =>>> A neutral covalent compound having two lone pair of electrons. Ammonia is a BASIC gas, so how it can be " NEUTRAL " ????????

NEUTRAL doesn't mean basic or acidic in nature instead it means the compound has neither positive nor negative charge. Ammonia is neural covalent compound as it has neither positive nor negative charge.
