along the course of evolution many organisms have involved with different characteristics and  classification  refers to the grouping of organisms with similar characteristics together  More common the characteristics are  the two organisms are  more related they are there for the classification reflects evolutionary relationships            For eg the brother and her sister are more. Closely related then the sister and her cousin Therefore the common characteristics lead to more common body designs due to which they have more common origin which leads to the basic idea of evolution.          Thus if theyhave common characteristics they have common origin and  they have  involved in common ancestors Thuswe can say that evolution and classification are interlinked
