Evolution, i.e. changes in an organism to adjust to the environment as suggested by Charles Darwin is a very slow process, and takes place over tens of thousands of generations over millions of years. However, in bacteria developing resistance to antibiotic, which is a type of evolution, takes place within our own lifetime. Why do you think it occurs so quickly in bacteria?

Explanation:

it occurs so quickly in bacteria because it's life cycle is very short it divides very fast in very less time that's why evolution occurs fast as compared to the human or any other organisms
