Find six rational numbers between 3 and 4

Solution:-

Given numbers are 3 and 4

Required number of rationals = 6

We write the denominator as 6+1=7

then

3 can be written as

=3×(7/7)

=(3×7)/7

=21/7

and

4 can be written as

=4×(7/7)

=>(4×7)/7

=28/7

Now the six rational numbers between 21/7 and 28/7 are 22/7,23/7,24/7,25/7,26/7,27/7

3=21/7<22/7<23/7<24/7<25/7<26/7<27/7<28/7=4

Answer:-

the six rational numbers between 3 and 4 are 22/7,23/7,24/7,25/7,26/7,27/7
