Ex 1: Find the ratio of distance travelled to the displacement when
a particle travels on a circular track of radius 100 m covering half
the circle.​

ATQ,

Displacement = diameter = 2r = 200 m

And, distance = 1/2 × 2 × 22/7 × 100 m = 2200/7 m

Hence, reqd. ratio

 =  \frac{ \frac{2200}{7} }{200}  \\  =  \frac{11}{7}

= 11 : 7
