In India the problem of dowry is a big issue.Sinçe many years the problem of dowry has existed.All the parents who have daughters have to save money all their life to give dowry at the time of marrige of their daughters.This is a very evil kind of social ritual.The people who cannot collect enough money for dowry,their daughter's are treated in a very bad way.In extreme cases their daughters are killed.The Indian constitution has given many rights to the women.But only a few ladies who are educated raise questions about their rights.It takes a great deal of courage for women to come forward and raise voice against dowry.The husbands should take a strong stand regarding the safety of their wives.They must consult their parents if their wives are complaining regarding the in law's behaviour.
