The poem 'Bangle Sellers' is one of the best examples of beauty in simplicity in poems. Though the title seems to be concerned about the 'Bangle Sellers' but the theme of the poem beautifully projects the stages of a typical Indian woman's life.

When seen on the surface ,this poem is a celebration and projection of Indian woman's life,however when analyzed the same poem turns out to be not only a representation but a truthful query into an Indian woman's identity.

What I love most about the poem is the use of colors to depict the different stages of womanhood. As such poet,Sarojini Naidu is well known for her color imagery. But particularly this poem enriches the colors with deeper meanings.
