examination is not a real indicator of student's merit

all  people are not alike. some r good at sports, some at singing, a\some at creativity, some at painting and so on. but the present world is so competitive that it feels that people who actually secure goog grades have a greater merit. but this is wrong. this idea has to b changed .. a person who is good at studies may not perform well in the examination due to some health problem , loss of their beloved ones (grand parents etc.)or some other reason. so gradually the person gets less grade and others cant blame him that he is not a person with good merit . at that moment he couldnt perform well but he has the ability and the skills in him. where as other person who is always lazy and not at all hard working secures good marks by copying from others. hence v can say that examination is not a real indicator of student's merit.
